newspaper, a New Voice in Indian Society

A newspaper or news magazine as the name suggests is a printed weekly or even daily newspaper printed in many countries which can include international breaking news, features stories, opinion articles and photos on a daily basis. In the UK, a broadsheet paper is published under the title of “papers” whereas in Australia it is known as “magazine”. It is published after going through a “duplex” process where previous issues are reprinted and updated throughout the year. The major feature of any newspaper is its news column, which often includes several different sections including sports, entertainment, local news and world news. However, other sections are also available like cooking, beauty, education, finance, health, gardening and much more.

The other name of the newspaper is also known as “leve lyne”. A special version of the leve lyne was launched as the first British newspaper in Tamil Nadu. Initially, the first issue of the newspaper was published at the Koodal Imambara in Chennai but later the issue moved to Chennai Central and later to Koodalur, Chennai. The first week of the issue was dedicated to the anniversary of independence of the country by laying the cornerstone of the seafront hotels on Vittolim beach.

Another interesting thing that this newspaper has done is to launch a special series of features stories or reviews of the places that are visited by the tourists. There are some of the famous destinations that have been featured in the magazine such as Golden Point, Tooe Land, St Barths, Vagadewa and Caucedo. The interesting part of the magazine is that, each month, there is another destination that is featured with a different type of story. Some of the featured destinations for the month of April are Goa, Fiji, Pitons Island, Borneo, Lamma Island, Sumatra, Vietnam, Borneo, Sumatra and Tahiti.
