Meet The Team

"Jay"

Raised in South London, I could always tell I had a special bond with games and IT. This passion and drive gave me all the encouragement I needed to go to college to study as a Software Practitioner, and then on to university where I obtained a First Class Degree in Computer Science (Games Techonology.)

With this knowledge, playing games meant a lot more and I found myself wondering how games worked, which in turn spurred me on to create my first ever game for PC, which then led me to setting up this company.

Working with this team is my living dream, they remind me every day as to exactly why I do this, along with my love and passion for games.

"Reese"

I am a game enthusiast who just so happens to be a game developer.

Being a recent graduate of a BA (Hons) Computer Games Design course, I gathered our merry band of dev pirates to form this fearsome crew.

As the managing director of Drop Dead Interactive, I supervise the crew to ensure we plunder consumer booty. When not crafting our game in the fiery pits of Middlesbrough, I like playing digital and tabletop games, but mostly RPGs.

"Darren"

I’m Darren Arquette, Production Director of Drop Dead Interactive and Author of the Forgotten Tales Series.

Gaming technology and techniques fascinate me, always have and always will. They drove me to a gaming degree and aspirations to a whole lot more as recent as graduating from Teesside University with a BA Hons in Creative Digital Media in 2011.

In short I’m an all-round NERD! I have as much fun saving the Universe in Mass Effect as I do flinging pigeons at pigs in Angry Birds.

"Alec"

Hey there, my names Alec Woods and I am the Creative Director at Drop Dead Interactive.

My current responsibilities range from brewing up concepts and ideas, to creating shiny artwork that'll be seen in the finished products which I work on.

I am a recent graduate of Teesside University with a 2:1 degree in, wouldn't you know it, Computer Games Art. Prior to this I have been trained in Art & Design and have completed freelance work for projects such as the Trading Card Game Conflicting Kingdoms (TM).

"Steve"

I’m the lead artist on Heisenberg: Knight of The Living Dead.

I started drawing at the age of 3 or 4, drawing Garfield and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for other kids at school. In return for their dinner money, of course.

My artwork is more or less, a cross between heavily detailed life work and very cartoony as I’ve always strifed to make my own characters from a young age. Having been inspired by other Game Artists, such as John Tobias (Lead Artist and Co-Creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise.)

"Kenneth"

Hello, I am Kenneth Yap.

I am a computer game programmer from Teesside University, recently graduated on September 2011. Now involved in the most fearsome Games Company in town.

I love video games, especially ones with great graphics, gameplay or story. But I am only a God at Programming, I'll need someone to do the rest.

"Denny"

Hi, my name is Denny Edita.

I am a multitasking designer, particularly in Games Development, Architecture and 3D modeling.

I built 3D Assets for games, producing 3D Plot Plan, Architecture Related construction and Professional Websites. I develop various concepts of the future. Especially on vehicles and defense systems.
